New Schwing Northwest Regional Manager Announced 2007

Charlie Walker has been announced as the new Regional Manager for the Northwest United States and Western Canada. Walker brings a successful background in sales and engineering to the position which will cover Northern California, Northern Nevada, Washington, Oregon, Alaska and the western Canadian Provinces. “Charlie’s extensive experience with mobile heavy equipment and hydraulics will be of great value to our customers and dealers, “explained Shaun Nelson, Director of Sales for the Western US.

After serving as the director of sales and applications for a large diesel engine turbocharger and heat exchanger manufacturer, Walker worked with the Penske group to market diesel engines to North American OEMs. Most recently he has been responsible for sales and marketing heat transfer equipment through distributors. “I feel my technical sales experience will allow me the opportunity to successfully represent Schwing products throughout the Northwest region and I am honored to be part of such a successful team,” Walker said.

The native Californian will reside in the territory with his wife and youngest son. Walker’s oldest son attends the U.S. Air Force Academy.
