New SP 500 Trailer Pump With Added Standard Features 2008
The New Schwing SP 500 trailer pump has been announced with 45 cy/hr output and a 72 hp diesel engine. Due to volume production of this worldwide model, more standard features have been added that would not normally be included with a pump at this price according to the manufacturer.
Most importantly is the inclusion of the Long Rock Valve™ that promotes filling efficiency of the pumping cylinders even with harsh mixes containing up to 1.5-inch aggregate. This valve is the proven design used on Schwing’s high volume truck-mounted concrete pumps with placing booms. The Long Rock Valve™ features fast cleanout, easy wear parts replacement and the lowest cost per yard operating costs. Also standard is the hydraulic agitator which was an option in the past. New for 2008 is forward and reverse controls along with the on/off and E-stop functions of the remote controller.
The SP 500 is an all around performer excelling at pumping grout, shotcrete and concrete. Output of the SP 500s all-hydraulic pump is 45 cubic yards per hour from the twin 6-inch diameter material cylinders at 32.5 strokes per minute. The Deutz diesel is rated at 72 horsepower and electric motor options are available to pump up to 330-feet vertically and more than 1,000-feet horizontally. The pump rides on torsion-bar equipped single axles with dual axles optional. LED taillights are standard and the SP 500 rides on attractive and durable, lightweight aluminum wheels.
