Qld concrete heavyweight in last-ditch turnaround 28 October 2008

Queensland’s largest concrete pumper has elisted turnaround specialists in an attempt to pull it out of the grip of receivership and voluntary administration.

Corporate turnaround firm Vantage Performance has been appointed by Maurie Saccu, current owner and Managing Director of Brisbane Concrete Pumping Meales.

Vantage has been engaged to develop a comprehensive turnaround strategy and to develop a proposal which, if successful, they say will bring the company out of receivership and voluntary administration.

"A tremendous amount of work had already been done on the plan to put the business back on track and that the turnaround plan is gaining momentum as each day passes," Vantage Managing DirectorMichael Fingland says.
