Schwing Atlanta Branch Adds Industrial Engineering Manager 2007

Schwing America’s Atlanta Branch has added a new Industrial Engineering Manager. Paul Wenneman, formerly with Siemens, the multi-national engineering giant, has joined the growing Trailer Pump Division. Atlanta is the worldwide manufacturing center for Schwing’s popular line of trailer pumps including the P-88, P-305, BPA 450, BPA 500, WP series and WPT series. A recent remodeling and reallocation of offices to manufacturing space has been one of the first assignments for Wenneman. In his new position Paul oversees process improvements that will result in shorter lead times for customers among other end user benefits. “Adding efficiency to manufacturing is a passion of mine,“ Wenneman explained, “This also includes spare parts handling and shipments.” The flow of the manufacturing process through final testing and paint is constantly being scrutinized for maximum productivity and quality control.

Schwing trailer pumps manufactured in the Atlanta Branch include mechanical ball valve and all-hydraulic models with outputs from 25 to 95 cubic yards per hour.
