Schwing Shuffles Service Department for More Efficiency 2003

In a move to better support their field service technicians and customers Schwing America has moved Myron Morehouse an experienced serviceman in the Southeast back to the White Bear plant. "We can take Myron’s 9 years of experience and spread it out over a wider area by having him do telephone support from the factory, "according to Tony Haider, V-P of customer service. Morehouse’s replacement is Chris Stults who will now be based out of Atlanta. Stults brings extensive knowledge to the field after many years with a large pumping fleet. Both men will work under Jeff Popa, newly appointed Service Manager. A long time Schwing service employee, Popa will oversee all field and in-house service techs. In another move, Albert Ornelas, formerly a parts support person at the Los Alamitos branch in Southern California has moved to the service side of the Schwing branch Ornelas’s in-depth parts experience will be an asset to his new service position, according to Haider. Schwing continues to support customers with eleven field service technicians and four factory technicians. The factory techs are located at the White Bear, MN factory and the field techs work out of the factory stores or are strategically located throughout the United States. All technicians are schooled and experienced in both Boom and Line pump service. All service trucks are stocked with common wear parts for customer support.
