Duane Remus

Duane Remus has been REED's Director of Technical Development for the past 8 years. Before that, Duane worked at Putzmeister for 8 years in various capacities including regional service manger, industrial pump design and installation, and manager of training.

It has been through Duane's training that many of our industry's service personnel have gotten to know him.

Duane is a very modest guy, but his technical capabilities are legendary. He routinely handles telephone calls from other manufacturers' service personnel whenever they are stumped by a very difficult electric or hydraulic problem.

Duane's concrete pump designs are known to be "elegant", combining functionality with a touch of style. His curved boom rests and stainless-steel hydraulic component covers are unique and worth checking out at the World of Concrete if you ever get a chance. Duane's knowledge of both electronics and hydraulics led him to design what most consider to be the "smoothest" concrete pumping system available on the market today.
